Dear Athlete, Parent or Coach,
This information is probably new to many of you if you have moved up into the Senior age group (and may have moved from another County).
Please find attached information about selection for the Seniors (dob 01/09/07 – 31/08/09 – usually yr 12 or 13).
As many of you will be aware the age groups have changed this year for Club competitions and as ESAA is keen to ensure that all school age athletes that have previously been eligible to compete at English Schools Champs again have the opportunity to do so there are some “different” age groups for the “hurdle” events – please check the attached detailed info for all events.
Entry Standards are also attached but for hurdles have not yet been posted on the ESAA website so if that is your event, do check there regularly for any updates.
As usual, as Senior athletes do not compete at the London Schools Championships we will be expecting Seniors to submit their best performances as soon as reasonably possible but being aware that the selection meeting will take place on Sun 14th June (day after London Champs). The SEAA Champs are on 6th & 7th June in Bedford. If you want to compete there then make sure you don’t miss the entry deadline!!
